After installing any of our window seal, you will be always able to close or open your window. Make sure to follow our tips:
Window Seal Mod. AL003 and Velux Window Sealing Kit
Everything starts with a proper installation process. In order to close your single or double casement window after installation, make sure not to stick the velcro onto the area where the casement actually closes against the frame of your window. So, don’t forget to test if your window closes properly after having attached the velcro.
If you don’t want to use your portable A/C and you want to close your window, simply open the zippers, take away the A/C hose and remove the sealing cloth from the window casement. No need to take both sides off. Make sure not to clamp the window seal in your window. It may get torn, compromising the quality of the product.
Sliding Window Sealing Kit and Door Sealing Kit
In this case, if you want to close your sliding window or your door, simply open the zippers, take away the A/C hose and detach the velcro from the panel/door and from the top and the bottom. Now the panel/door can be closed properly. Even in this case, it's not necessary to take off the whole sealing cloth.
For the door sealing kit, remember that if you want to get out from the room, you need simply to open the central zipper - it's not necessary to take off the door seal.
